The Wills and Powers of Attorney matter types in LEAP have been updated to more accurately reflect modern relationships, to improve the quality of information that can be recorded on the electronic matter and to maximise automation within the LEAP forms and precedents. The “single” version of the forms have been re-coded to enable use with both single and mutual matter types and therefore the Husband and Wife versions of the forms have been removed as they are no longer required.
The matter types are now:-
- Wills – Single
- Wills – Mutual
- Power of Attorney – Mutual
- Power of Attorney – Single
- Advance Health Directive – Mutual
- Advance Health Directive – Single
Each matter type has been set to default to:-
|Wills – Single||Wills – Mutual|
|Client = Client||Client = Client|
|Other Side = Executor||Other Side = Substitute Executor|
|Other Side’s Solicitor = Substitute Executor||Other Side’s Solicitor – Client 2 Substitute Executor|
The majority of changes have been made to the Wills – Mutual matter type.
